Like many other millennials, we met through a dating app - HINGE. It was Super Bowl Sunday in 2022 and Nick sent an audio message to Melissa. We corresponded back-and-forth for about a week before Melissa asked Nick if he wanted to meet up in person.

On a Saturday afternoon, we strolled along the streets of Santa Clara and both of us felt the other was different and held immense promise. From then on, we were inseparable, spending time after work and weekends together. From TopGolf and Axe Throwing to watch The Goonies at Santa Cruz Boardwalk and binge-watching the latest season of Squid Games, we delighted in sharing our interests, thoughts, and feelings with one another.

In Nick, Melissa found someone who would balance her seriousness with playfulness, humor, and a dash of insulin. Nick is Melissa's No.1 hype-man and supports all of her crazy ideas and travel itineraries! Although Melissa works ample overtime, Nick tries his best to reign her in and remind her to make time for spontaneous life adventures outside of work. Melissa is excited to marry Nick and continue living together as husband and wife!

In Melissa, Nick found someone who pushes him to be the best possible version of himself - even if that means learning to turn off the lights and is still "in training." Nick considers Melissa to be one of the most thoughtful individuals he has ever met and cannot wait to spend his forever with her - and hopefully one day complete his training.
